Absolutely love Bark Place! Took my sweet pup today for a grooming and de shedding and he looks amazing. I’m especially thrilled because he can be shy/cautious, and he behaved great and was so happy and calm! Will be coming back for sure!

This place is the BEST! We felt at home from the minute we walked in the door. We were greeted warmly and Taz was given some time to check the place out on her terms and meet the folks there. We were not rushed. The facility is impeccably clean, it’s nicely decorated, the equipment is nice, the service menu is big, the prices are fair. But the most important thing is they treated me and my dog with kindness. They were very gentle and didn’t force anything on her. Taz looks amazing, she smells amazing, and she had a fun time. I mean, look at that face! That’s a happy puppy. We will 100% for sure be back and will recommend you to everyone we know. Thank you so much!! Update added 06/22/2026 -- We have added another wild Devil dog to our family since my first review (Buddy Bean). He is working on building confidence and is really shy/fearful in new situations. Kara. Michelle, and Jess gave him the space and time he needed to realize he was in a safe, fun space and that lots of good things were going to happen to him while he was there. He got lots of love (as did Taz) and received amazing care. We have been to Bark Place multiple times and have received the highest quality of care (and love!) possible every single time we have been there. I truly cannot say enough great things about this business. If you haven't been yet - GO! You can thank me later.

If you are looking for a groomer that is professional, caring, and goes the extra mile to ensure that your dog feels safe and comfortable than look no further than Bark Place Dog Spa. Kara and her team do an exceptional job of ensuring your dog not only gets a great groom, but truly has their own spa day experience. Our golden used to hate going to the groomer until we started bringing him to Bark Place. Now he gets excited anytime the truck pulls into the parking lot. Which is why I will continue to drive the hour and a half to Bark Place for his grooming. I couldn’t recommend Kara and Bark Place Dog Spa more. The quality of grooming is excellent and Kara really treats your dog like family. You will not be disappointed!

Roscoe Dog Grooming from Bark Place Dog Spa in Villa Rica GA 3

I used to live in Villa Rica, and even though I’ve moved a few towns away, I still bring Roscoe back to Kara for his grooming. It’s worth the drive every time! Kara has groomed Roscoe many times, and there’s no one else I trust with him. Now that she has opened her own shop, I’m excited to start bringing Roscoe to Bark Place Dog Spa. Her care, attention to detail, and love for animals make all the difference. Roscoe is always excited to see her, and I know he’ll be in great hands at her new spa.

Ozzie Dog Grooming from Bark Place Dog Spa in Villa Rica GA 1

Kara has been grooming Ozzie for years, and it’s been wonderful to see her grow as both a professional and a part of the Villa Rica community. Having known Kara for some time, it’s clear how passionate she is about her work, and Ozzie absolutely loves going to see her. He gets excited every time we pull up!

Kara has an incredible way of making him feel comfortable, and her attention to detail is unmatched. Ozzie always looks fantastic, and I trust him in her care completely. It’s great to have someone like Kara, who cares so much about both her clients and her community.

Dallas GA Dog Grooming from Bark Place Dog Spa in Villa Rica GA 2

Dallas has been going to Kara for his baths, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care he receives. He’s a big dog and can be a handful, but Kara always handles him with such calmness and skill. Dallas comes home clean, refreshed, and smelling great every time! Now that Kara has opened Bark Place Dog Spa, I’m excited to continue bringing him in for his regular baths. Kara’s attention to detail and love for the animals she cares for truly set her apart.
